  10.        This chapter lists changes and additions new to this release
  11.        of IRIS ImageVision Utilities.

  14.        3.1  _I_m_a_g_e__V_i_e_w__F_e_a_t_u_r_e_s

  16.        Imgview has been enhanced to include features for
  17.        sharpening, blurring, adjusting contrast, brightness and
  18.        color saturation, negating, rotating and zooming the image.
  19.        imgview no longer has the ability to directly edit the
  20.        image's color table.  imgview also now supports printing,
  21.        histogram display, movie looping, multiple windows and
  22.        specification of file attributes when saving an image.

  27.        A new TCL based script interpreter, imgtcl, has been added.
  28.        This allows batch style scripts to be created, interactive
  29.        command line style operation and construction of interactive
  30.        GUI tools, without needing the IL development option.

  36.        the Portable Network Graphics format (PNG), the Alias and
